HandPicked Foundation (HPF) is a registered Community Based Organization (CBO) that was established in 2021. Its
formation is underpinned on Christian principals.
We operate at grassroot levels in Wakisio District in Lweza village.
At HPF we believe that every child deserves an opportunity to be parented

To transform children’s quality of life holistically by providing a range of opportunities to grow their skills and competencies to engage positively with the world.
Our Programs
Empowering Children and Families
At Handpicked Foundation, we are committed to transforming the lives of children and strengthening families in Wakisio District through a range of holistic programs and support initiatives. Our objectives include:
Financial Literacy to Parents
We mentor mothers financially and guide them to set up community women financial groups.
Community Health Support
We coordinate health services such as reproductive health education and support linkages for women, psycho-social
support to children and youth
Community and Social Responsibility
We instill a sense of belonging and responsibility in children, encouraging them to actively contribute to their community and become engaged citizens.
Empowering children
We equip children with the crucial life skills and values they need to navigate life successfully, fostering personal growth and positive development.
Promote Character Building
We focus on building strong character and promoting sound moral principles in children, guiding them to become responsible and ethical individuals
